The boil order in your area has been lifted in the area of
144th & 145th Marquette, Manistee, Muskegon, Hammond,
Goodrich and Martha Place,
The Village of Burnham Water Department advises consumers to flush water pipes within their
homes. Flush every sink and bathtub for at least 5 minutes until sediment or discoloration has
subsided. Some types of water treatment devices may need to be disinfected and flushed to
remove any contaminated water before use. Depending on the type of water treatment device, the
device may need to be replaced. Check with the manufacturer for details.

Water Main Break Notice
Residents,
Due to the water service line break of Monday, January 27, 2026 in the area of
145th & Hoxie. Other area may be affected. They continue to work on resolving the
issue.
Unfortunately, you may experience no water service at times during the day.
In order to continue with the repairs, the water needs to be shut off and turned on at
times. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.
Please continue to boil your water for drinking at your home once the water service
is resumed. During cold weather this may affect the village’s water infrastructure
that can cause service line breaks.
We will notify you thru a notice on our website when the boil order is lifted.
And we will continue to keep you posted on any further information of this
issue.
