The Village of Burnham Water Department advises consumers to flush water pipes within their
homes. Flush every sink and bathtub for at least 5 minutes until sediment or discoloration has
subsided. Some types of water treatment devices may need to be disinfected and flushed to
remove any contaminated water before use. Depending on the type of water treatment device, the
device may need to be replaced. Check with the manufacturer for details.

Residents,
We have another water line break near 139th Street and Torrence Avenue, by the credit union, affecting areas west and east of Torrence Avenue from 141st Street to 138th Street, including:
Croissant, Bensley, Calhoun, Hoxie, 142nd Street, Saginaw, Marquette and Manistee.
You may experience low water pressure or no water service while repairs are being completed.

We will continue to keep you posted through notices on our website.

Due to this situation, residents are advised to boil water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice and preparing food once water service is restored.

We will notify residents through a notice on our website when the boil order is lifted. We will also continue to provide any additional information regarding this issue.
