About the event
The Village of Burnham, in partnership with the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County (CEDA), will host a Utility & Energy Bill Assistance Event to support residents who may need help with rising energy and utility costs. The event will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Burnham Community Center, 14020 Torrence Ave., Burnham, Illinois.
During the event, CEDA representatives will be available to assist residents with applications for energy assistance programs such as LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) and provide information about other available support services. Staff will guide residents through the application process and help connect households with programs designed to reduce the burden of utility expenses.
Residents planning to attend should bring the required documents, including a photo ID, recent utility bill, proof of income, and Social Security numbers for household members, to help complete the application…
