About the event
The Village of Burnham invites residents to attend the Property After Death & Property Fraud Prevention Forum on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burnham Community Center.
This informative workshop will provide residents with helpful information on transferring a home, vehicle, and bank account to loved ones, as well as ways to help protect property from fraud. Attendees will also have an opportunity to speak with licensed attorneys and learn more about important property and estate-related matters.
The workshop is brought to the community by the Cook County Clerk’s Office and hosted by the Burnham Community Center and Mayor Robert E. Polk.
